2015 British Fashion Awards: Fashion Overview

2015 AMA's Fashion Overview

Hey guys! Who loved the AMA show as much as I did?! Below I have my top five best and five worst looks of the night.

But first can we please talk about the Jonas Brothers?! Joe Jonas appeared on the carpet with his DNCE band mates, and I could not help but scream "Oh my Jonas!" when I saw his hair! It looks awesome! I love that he takes fashion risks. A while later, Nick Jonas arrived to the red carpet, in a turtle neck? Nick, you looked great, but wasn't it like 80 degrees outside?

Five Not so Great Looks of the Night

Carrie Underwood, I love her, but this dress is no good, the nude panels make it look very cheap. Tove lo, in what looks like a Chinese handcuff inspired dress. When I saw Paula Abdul I could not help but think about how her dress looks like Lea Michelle's back brace in Scream Queens. Eli Goulding showed up to the AMA's, looking like she was planning on going to a club in Jersey. And finally, Selena Gomez, I typically love Selena's fashion choices, she was wearing Givenchy, but it looked like she was stuck in a hoola hoop so they just sewed some cheap fabric on her.

Top Five Looks of the Night

Guiliana Rancic shined in Gabriela Cadena, Gwen Stefani looked chic and fun in a sheer black dress, Kendall Jenner looked fierce in a short black dress and fun updo, Gigi Hadid stood out in a beautiful custom white Bao Tranchi skirt and crop top, and Ciara showed up like a bad ass in Reem Acra.

There are so many other looks I could talk about, like Harry Styles' bell bottom suit and bolo tie

Or Z La La..

Who was your best and worst dressed of the night?

Cleaning the Ocean and Making Fashion

Adidas recently partnered with Parly for the Oceans to create a new eco- friendly shoe. The sneaker is set to launch this spring and it is the first shoe with an upper made entirely of wastes retrieved from the ocean. I'm so excited for this collaboration and hope this is not the end from Adidas and Parly!

This is a great example of how style inspiration can come from any where!

The Nineties and Fashion Inspiration

This fall I am loving 90's inspired outfits: mini skirts, turtle necks, and a great pair of boots. Below is some 90's inspiration I found to share with you. These outfits can be found at H&M and Zara.

Turtleneck and skirt can be found at H&M, I think these items
would look great with cream sweater tights and brown suede boots.
